Where the phone gets answered
The service does not care where the call comes from. These are the areas with a page of their own so far.
Areas with a page
Written for the trade mix and the weather that actually drives calls there.
Anywhere else in Alberta works exactly the same way. If your town is not listed yet, it is only because the page is not written.
Alberta breaks things on a timetable
Three weather patterns that produce a week of work in a night.
The chinook swing
Southern Alberta can move twenty degrees inside a day. Equipment that coped all week fails on the swing, and it fails for a lot of houses at once, usually after supper.
The northern deep freeze
Up north the cold settles in and stays for a week or two. Furnaces short cycle, lines freeze in unheated garages, and rooftop units nobody looked at in the fall give out.
Hail and the summer surge
Nothing for weeks, then every roofer and restoration crew in the region is ringing on the same Tuesday afternoon. Whoever picks up books the season.
Distance is the other half of it
Alberta service areas are big. A shop covering a city plus the towns around it spends real hours between jobs, and every one of those hours is time the phone rings without anyone on it.
That is why this matters more here than it would somewhere dense. The call you miss is rarely missed because you were lazy. It is missed because you were an hour down a highway with your hands full.
Wherever the call comes from in the province, it is answered the same way and booked into the same calendar.
Try it from wherever you are
The line works the same from Medicine Hat as from High Level. Call it and see what your customers would get.
